The faculty members of UCLA Neurosurgery are committed to globally connecting the best and brightest minds in neurosurgery through an innovative Neurosurgery Academy based at UCLA.
The Neurosurgery Academy's purpose is to establish a unique, cutting-edge virtual teleconferencing and telemedicine facilities, create world-wide connections powered by technology that allow for ten to twelve UCLA and international neurosurgeons to collaborate on a regular basis by using high-definition virtual teleconferencing, and interact with international colleagues on a regular basis for monthly conferences, educational curriculum, telemedicine and live surgeries.
